Habits of the Highly Effective Intercessor – Fellowship with the Holy Ghost

Habits of the Highly Effective Intercessor

~ Fellowship With the Holy Ghost ~

Keeping your fellowship with the Holy Spirit current is definitely one of the successful habits you’ll want to cultivate as an highly effective Intercessor.

This means not letting anything break or interrupt your fellowship with God! Your relationship with God is constant, once you are born again you are a child of God and that cannot change but your fellowship is changeable, it can be broken and mended again.

If you’re relying on God as your power source and your fellowship with the Holy Spirit is broken then the power of God will be hindered from following through you and you’re not going to be as effective as you can.

Here are some things that affect your fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

1) Active Sin – You cannot live in sin or be actively encouraging sin in your life and expect to still effectively articulate the power of God. Sin will not stop the power of God but it will stop YOU from effectively using that power.

When you sin against God your conscience becomes wounded, and with a wounded conscience it is difficult to demonstrate faith.

You need faith to wield the power of God with effect. Therefore YOUR sin hinders YOU from effectively manifesting the power of God.

2) Rebellion – I’ve listed rebellion separately from active sin because rebellion can take the form of passive sin, which can sometimes be more deadly than active sin in your life.

When we hear the term “active sin” we usually think of fornication, adultery, embezzlement, etc. but rebellion simply means not doing what God told you to do.

For instance, if you haven’t done the last thing God told you to do and it’s past the time to do it – you’re in rebellion.

And if you continue in rebellion it will definitely affect your fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

How can you pray and ask God for such and such when you know that you have not done what He has asked you to do? You cannot approach God with faith knowing that you’re currently violating His will.

Not only this but also when you get into actual aggressive warfare and begin to declare the word of God to principalities, powers and demonic spirits you will find that your words will not have as much effect as they should.

Because demons are only obligated to obey you to the degree that YOU obey the Lord.

The effectiveness of YOUR word is based on your obedience to GOD’S word.

When you disobey God’s word you are giving demons license to disobey your word.

This is how delegated authority operates!

You can only manifest the power you’re given as long as you obey the source of that power… GOD!

3) Neglecting Tithes and Offering – I’m going to write an entire book on this topic.

Suffice it to say that not paying tithes and giving offerings to God is both active sin and rebellion at the same time.

In fact, we can call it ACTIVE REBELLION AGAINST GOD!

God said, “You are cursed with a curse,” if you neglect tithing and offerings.

Permit me a simple illustration: If you refused to pay taxes to your lawful government what would happen to you after a while?

The authorities would show up at your door, right?

And if you still refused to pay your lawful taxes what would happen then?

You’d experience the full penalty of the law, right?

So tell me something?

Are you, or are you not a citizen of the kingdom of God?

(A kingdom is a type of government) And if you’re a citizen how can you in good conscience enjoy the benefits of the government without paying lawful taxes as a citizen of that government?

Tithes and offerings are taxes we owe as citizens of the most glorious and fair government the universe has ever seen!

Ask yourself this question, “Who doesn’t pay taxes to a lawful government, only criminals and illegal aliens.

Are you one of those? I hope not.

4) Harboring Unforgiveness – Refusing to forgive others is not walking in love and obviously a sinful practice.

Sin hinders your fellowship with the Holy Spirit and keeping your fellowship with the Holy Spirit current is definitely one of the successful habits of being a highly effective Intercessor.

Habits of the Highly Effective Intercessor – Being Filled With the Holy Ghost

KLN Header

Habits of the Highly Effective Intercessor

~ Being Filled With the Holy Ghost ~

Being filled with the Holy Ghost is undoubtedly one of the most powerful habits of the highly effective Intercessor.

The Bible says, “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.” Eph. 5:18 (NIV)

I’m told that the original Greek verb which is translated “be filled” is in the present continuous tense, meaning the command “to be filled” really means to keep being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Here are some of the related areas of being continually filled with the Holy Spirit:

1) Receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit – Obviously we’ve got to start at the beginning; you can’t KEEP being filled if you never had the initial experience of becoming filled in the first place!

Since the Holy Spirit was poured out on the day of Pentecost He has never stopped being poured out. He is constantly being poured out so that anyone who has received Jesus Christ as his or her savior can step under that flow and become immediately filled!

Ac 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The bible does NOT require any special waiting or preparation to be filled with the Holy Spirit except that you are a Christian. Receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an act of faith that can be experienced anytime, anywhere by anyone who is saved!

It is as simple as asking and receiving! A sample prayer might go something like this:

Dear Father, You said that if I ask you for your Holy Spirit you will give me your Holy Spirit and You cannot lie. Thank you for filling me with your Holy Spirit right now Lord! Holy Spirit, I believe in You and I receive your infilling now in Jesus name. Amen!

This prayer is based partly on the scripture below.

Lk 11:11-14 Which one of you fathers would give your hungry child a snake if the child asked for a fish? Which one of you would give your child a scorpion if the child asked for an egg? As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks. (CEV)

What is most important is what you do next! The scriptures declare in Rom 10:9-10 that you must confess AND believe in order to receive, whether it’s salvation or the baptism of the Holy Spirit the PRINCIPLE remains the same! Confess AND believe!

So during your prayer and after you have finished praying you MUST be and remain in an attitude of faithful expectancy. You must be completely assured that what you have just asked for is being given to you right there and then!

Then you simply open your heart (spirit) and receive it! It is an act of your will! That’s why Jesus asked the lame man “WILL YOU BE HEALED???” Now I’m asking you the same thing, “WILL YOU RECEIVE THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT???” It’s up to YOU – Will you or won’t you receive?

Ac 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. Ac 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?

The emphasis is always on YOU receiving NOT on God giving the Holy Spirit!

The Holy Spirit was given once 2,000 years ago and He was never taken back – So it’s up to you to receive!

2) Praying with Tongues – The ability to pray in tongues is the initial evidence that manifests when you first become filled with the Holy Spirit! There are many other manifestations of being filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues is just the first one that usually shows up!

There are nine gifts of the Spirit in total and each of them is a manifestation of the Spirit.

The ability to pray with tongues is given to everyone who is filled with the Holy Spirit, some people may be filled and not speak in tongues simply because they were never properly instructed as to how they should go about it.

You will find that there is a lot of controversy about praying in tongues largely because a lot of people misunderstand this ability. And on a deeper level because the enemy is threatened by anyone who does, so he stirs up Christians to waste time arguing over this issue instead of coming together in order to wage a united campaign against him!

Know this about the devil: He attacks anything he fears!

Has he been relentlessly attacking you? Well, now you know why! My point is, however, that he has been attacking the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the charismatic gifts from day one… literally! The first Christians to be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues on the day of Pentecost were accused of being drunkards and the attack hasn’t stopped since!

Praying in tongues is a means to activating the nine gifts of the Spirit and stimulating your spiritual senses to flow more powerfully and accurately.

Praying in tongues is the act of one intelligent spirit (Yours) speaking directly to another intelligent Spirit (God) without the need for any mental interpretation… THAT’S ALL!

3) Walking in Love – This is the most important manifestation of being filled with the Holy Spirit! People generally don’t care if you can speak with tongues or prophecy! But they will take notice if you show them that you care about them as a person.

They will be impressed if you sacrifice something important to you in order to bless a stranger – that’s true love! And that’s the most striking evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit of God! It’s called character and it stands out!

It is said that more souls are won to the Lord by selfless displays of love than by many sermons preached.

So, there we have it, being filled with the Holy Ghost allows the power of God to flow through you in a more concentrated and focused fashion giving you the ability to have a far greater impact and effect in the spirit realm.

And this is what being a highly effective Intercessor is all about – Being able to impact and affect the spirit realm to the extent that we see the manifest results in the physical realm. More power to you!

Speaking in Tongues: The Baptism of the Holy Spirit: Part 2

Speaking in Tongues: The Baptism of the Holy Spirit: Part 2

I’ll continue right where I left off in part one of this article. You have just asked to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and you’ve opened your spirit and received. The next step is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and begin to speak with tongues.
Let’s look at what happened to the disciples in the Upper Room on Pentecost Day.
“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:4)

Here’s a question: Who began speaking with other tongues?
Was it The Holy Ghost? NO!
doveThe disciples began to speak. This simple truth escapes about 90% of the people who read this for the first time. Somehow they magically believe that the Holy Spirit is the One doing the speaking through them. Wrong!
The Bible never says that the Holy Ghost speaks in tongues through you or the Holy Ghost forces you to speak with tongues.
According to the word of God the disciples spoke in tongues and the Holy Spirit gave then the utterance.
What does this mean in a practical sense?

It means until you decide to open your mouth and speak in tongues it’s not going to happen!
This requires exercising faith!
You must believe that when you open your mouth and speak, the very next words out of your mouth are going to be supplied by the Holy Spirit! This is the part where He gives you the utterance or supplies you with the words!
To give the utterance simply means to supply the words.

You do the speaking He supplies the words.
doveIt is the very act of opening your mouth in faith and beginning to speak that releases the power of the Holy Ghost to supply the words. You may open your mouth but if it’s not in faith – Nothing happens! You must know that when you open your mouth to speak He is going to supply the words.
It’s a beautiful partnership, just like dancing with God. All you have to do is simply trust Him. That’s it – Just trust that when you speak he’ll supply the words. It’s all about trust.

How well do you know Him?
Do you believe that when you step out in faith to do as He asks He will stand you up and embarrass you? Is that your concept of God? If it is, then your problem is not whether or not you’re able to speak with tongues, it’s a much deeper issue of not trusting God and that my friend is the subject for another article altogether.
But if you know Him and trust Him then you’re ready! Just continue to trust that as you open your mouth and speak; those beautiful, wonderful sounds will come pouring out in absolute glorious praise to Him!
I’ve heard some believers say when they first spoke with tongues it felt like something bubbling up from their belly and the next thing they knew they were “spitting tongues” fast and furious with almost no prompting on their part.
I’ve heard others say that they first heard the words within them before they spoke out loud in tongues.
I’m not here to discount or validate other people’s experiences, but I will say that the experience of others is not and should not be our guideline.

Our example is nothing less and nothing more than the word of God.
doveWe should always go with the biblical precedent laid out in God’s word if we want success in any area! The bible clearly says that the disciples spoke with tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
They initiated the speech – He supplied the words.

Here’s the most common problem with believers trying to speak in tongues for the very first time.
They receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit by faith then they immediately begin praising God in English or their native language, so they stand there for the next 5-10 minutes sometimes longer and they’re repeating, “Hallelujah, thank you Jesus, glory to God, praise you Jesus, thank you Lord, hallelujah!”
Let me ask you a question, “Can you speak in two different languages at the same time? No? I’ve got news for you… Nobody can!
So, if you’re speaking in English, then, what are you NOT speaking in? Tongues! Yes, that’s right!
Suppose you were bi-lingual and could speak both Spanish and English. Could you speak in both Spanish AND English at the same time?
Of course not! You would have to choose which one you were going to speak in and then just speak. Same thing with English and Tongues, it’s just another language you can speak, the only difference is this one takes faith. As you open your mouth and begin to form sounds with your lips and tongue you simply trust God to supply the actual words And He will.
Until you stop speaking in English and start speaking in tongues you’re never going to speak in tongues and this goes for whatever your native language is!

Faith requires action! Without works faith is dead!
doveUntil you initiate speech, no faith is released to bring the power of God on the scene and no spiritual gift is activated.
You start and the Holy Ghost backs you up!
You open your mouth and speak and He gives the words!
Speak in tongues – Just do it – God will work with you!
I understand fear, I know how paralyzing it can be but when you choose to overcome your fear and do what you need to do you’ll grow in faith. So the next time you’re faced with a challenge it’ll be easier to overcome because you’ll now have the experience of trusting God and seeing Him come through for you before.
Like when David faced Goliath, he remembered the lion and the bear and how God delivered him from them both and it helped him gain courage to face and defeat his giant.
Do the same; just remember whatever victories God already gave you no matter how small and let it strengthen your faith to defeat your fear now.
So, there you have it, that’s how you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and begin speaking with other tongues.
You simply trust God to do His part as you do yours.

You open your mouth and speak out boldly, fully expecting the Holy Spirit to supply the words that will come out of your mouth.
doveEven if it’s “tah, tah, tah, deh, deh, deh, bah, bah, bah.” Continue to speak in total boldness and confidence, the more you do, the more your faith grows and the more fluent you’ll become in speaking your new heavenly language.
When babies are just learning to speak you don’t hear them say, “Well, hello there, how are you?” Great weather we’re having, isn’t it?
They babble their way into coherent speech just like when they’re first learning to walk; they do more falling down than walking until they get it right, right?

So, if your first few words sound silly don’t be discouraged, keep speaking in faith until you master the ability and can speak fluently in tongues.
When I first started speaking in tongues I could only repeat one simple sentence over and over for about a year until I got fed up and decided to get radical and did some serious fasting so that I could flow easier in the spirit.
At the end of the fast I spoke in tongues for 2 hours non-stop and now I can pray in tongues whenever I want for as long as I want and that’s the way it should be!
I just shared this with you so that you’ll know that everyone has challenges but the truth is I went through that experience because I was ignorant and full of fear at the beginning that’s why I couldn’t speak in tongues fluently.
The whole reason I wrote this article is so that you won’t have to go through what I went through and be denied the wonderful experience of praying and speaking fluently in tongues for a whole year like me.
May God continue to bless you richly as you praise Him in your native language and in Tongues of Men and Angels.

Understanding the Baptism of the Holy Spirit: Part 1

Understanding the Baptism of the Holy Spirit: Part 1

Receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, sometimes called the infilling of the Holy Spirit or becoming baptized with the Holy Ghost is a vitally important part of successful Christian living.
There is however, a difference between being filled and becoming filled with the Holy Ghost!
The first is a continuous lifestyle and the second is a one-time event.
Some people confuse the two and make a mess of this doctrine when the truth is very simple.

Being Filled with the Holy Ghost

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is based on living day-by-day in continual fellowship with Him and obedience to Him.
It is, first of all, saturating your mind with the word of God, nothing draws you closer to the Holy Spirit than the entrance of God’s word. Then, it’s talking to Him and listening when He speaks, it’s cultivating His presence through an attitude of thankfulness, praise and worship, it means obeying Him without hesitation and without reservation.
It’s walking in love toward your fellow man, being quick to forgive and releasing hurts easily. It is creating an environment around you that welcomes and cultivates His Holy Presence. Toward this end, fasting also helps.

All this is the process of being filled with the Holy Spirit.
doveWhen you live your life like this it harnesses and concentrates the power of God in you, so when you begin to pray, preach or minister in any way, the power of God flows out of you much more fluently for effective ministry.
Another effect of being filled with the Holy Spirit is that it draws people to you who are seeking more of God in their lives. People tend to be drawn to you and instinctively look to you for guidance and leadership.
This is one of the unmistakable traits of a successful spiritual leader – Cultivating the character and power of the Holy Ghost or being filled with the Holy Spirit!
When I say “spiritual leader” I don’t necessarily mean one who leads a congregation or has some title or position in the church. A spiritual leader could be someone who works in a factory, a single mother or a high school student. Being a true spiritual leader has nothing to do with title or position but with manifesting the character and power of Christ in your everyday life.

Becoming Filled with the Holy Ghost

doveOn the other hand, becoming filled with the Holy Ghost is a one-time experience, which I will explain like this:
The initial out-pouring of the Holy Ghost in the Book of Acts, Chapter Two HAS NEVER STOPPED HAPPENING!
The Holy Spirit began being poured out on the Church and has never stopped being poured out!
Today, if any believer wants to become filled with the Holy Ghost all he needs to do is step under the flow, open his spirit and receive the infilling. It’s that simple!
I’ve led many people to salvation and to receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and I always tell them it starts with knowledge and understanding.
You must be assured that God wants you filled with His Holy Spirit and since He commands us all to be filled then that pretty much takes care of that!
The Bible simply commands us in Eph 5:18 to, “…Be filled with the Spirit.”

This is NOT a suggestion but a New Testament commandment!
doveSo, we are assured that God wants us filled with His Spirit and we know it’s because He wants us filled with His power so that we can become more effective witnesses.
Therefore, when we approach God to receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost we must come with complete confidence and boldness before Him.
I teach people to simply ask and receive. It is an instantaneous experience! There is NO waiting involved.
The ONLY reason Jesus told His disciples to wait in the Book of Acts is for the Day of Pentecost to come. They weren’t waiting for the Holy Ghost to come, He could have sent Him any time; they were waiting for the RIGHT DAY to come!
The day when ALL the people would be gathered together so that they could ALL hear the Good News of the Kingdom of God at the same time! That’s why Jesus told them to wait for the Day of Pentecost to arrive.
So, when you’re ready to be baptized with the Holy Ghost there is no waiting involved. I have a short prayer below that you can repeat when you’re ready to become filled with the Holy Spirit.

Prayer to be Filled with the Holy Spirit

“Father, according to Acts 1:8 I know that it’s your will for me to be filled with Your Holy Spirit and right now I ask You to fill me in Jesus name. I open my spirit and receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit right now and I thank you for it, Father. Amen!

The key to success in this experience is what you do while saying these words and what you do immediately after!
doveWhat you do while saying these words is literally, by faith, open your spirit and receive what God is pouring into you. It is your faith that makes it happen! If you know for a fact that God is pouring His Holy Spirit into you then it is happening. If you doubt whether it’s happening or not, then IT’S DEFINITELY NOT HAPPENING!
YOUR DECISION and YOUR FAITH makes all the difference!
It’s not up to God or the preacher or anyone else whether you receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit – IT’S UP TO YOU!
God has already sent Him as a gift and will not take Him back. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Immediately after you say these words and receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit you must co-operate with the Holy Ghost in order to begin speaking with other Tongues!

Understanding the Spirit & the Soul: Their Similarities and Differences

KLN Header

Understanding the Spirit & the Soul:

Their Similarities and Differences

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,” Heb 4:12.

From this passage we see that the writer in trying to show just how powerful the word of God is, uses the dividing of the spirit and soul as an illustration of it’s power. This therefore, leads us to understand that the spirit and soul are so closely identified with each other that it takes nothing less than the power of God’s word to distinguish between the two.
Just how close are the spirit and the soul?

In the verse above, the word “soul” is the Greek word “psuche” (pronounced psoo-khay) and means “breath”. The word “spirit” in the Greek is “pneuma” (pronounced pnyoo-mah) and means “a current of air.”

How’s that for similarity? One is a breath and the other is a current of air.

Now, at first glance these two words seem to mean the very same thing and in a sense they do. Is there any real difference between a breath and a current of air? Not on the surface but let’s look more closely, shall we?

From the World Book Dictionary a breath is a vapor and a vapor is “something without substance”. So the soul is something without substance! What can we deduce from this statement? We can see that the human soul is real, it has being, but no physical properties! Which simply means that it is not tangible, it can’t be experienced by the five senses. And in this regard it is the same as the spirit.

The human spirit is called “a current of air”. What is a current of air? Air is synonymous with life and a current is defined as a flow or stream. Therefore, “a current of air” is “a flow of life”.

What is the human spirit? A stream or flow of life!

spiritandsoulcover5Becoming ‘Born Again’ is described as the re-creating of a human spirit and the reconnecting of that spirit with God, so that the life of God can flow into that spirit. God designed the human spirit to be a conduit for Him to flow through. It is the interface that connects God to man and vice-versa! Not only this, but it also allows communication to take place. It’s the mechanism in man that allows him to communicate with God!

This is his spirit! A device created by God from a portion of His own Spirit, which allows man to harmonize, synchronize and communicate with God!

It is through this harmony and synchronization that we can communicate with God. He is a Spirit and can only harmonize with another spirit, therefore the human spirit is that aspect of man which can relate to God. It is that component which can feel what God feels, understand what God means and will to act in agreement with Him.

The human spirit then, is the seat of emotions, intellect and will as they relate to God and the spirit realm.

The following scriptures support this:

Luke 1:47 says, “My spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior and 1Sa 1:15 states, “…I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit…” The human spirit is capable of emotion.

So, the spirit has feelings.

1Co 2:14 says, “…neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (understood)” and from Job 32:8 we get, “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Showing that the spirit is capable of intelligence.

So, the spirit has intellect.

And finally, Ro 1:9 declares, “For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit…” and Isa 26:9 says, “…with my spirit within me will I seek thee early…” Clearly showing that within the human spirit there is volition, the capacity to choose or decide.

So, the spirit has a will.

What about the soul? We just saw that it is intangible, made up of the same ethereal material that the spirit is made up of. But how does it differ from the spirit?

According to the bible Ps 35:9 says, “…My soul shall be joyful in the LORD…” and Mt 26:38 says, “…My soul is exceeding sorrowful…” showing us that the soul can feel emotion.

So, the soul has feelings.

Ps 139:14 says, “Marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well and Pr 19:2 says, “…That the soul be without knowledge, it is not good…” Showing us that the soul is capable of intelligence.

So, the soul has intellect.

And Ps 62:1 says, “Truly my soul waiteth upon God” and Rom 13:1 declares, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers”. Now, “to wait or be subject,” indicates the capacity to choose or decide which leads us to acknowledge, that the soul is capable of volition or the capacity to choose.

So, the soul has a will.

What does this mean?

spiritandsoulcover5It means that the human soul is also the seat of emotions, intellect and will, but only as it relates to this natural realm and other human beings!

In addition to this, we must also understand that the soul and the mind are one and the same thing. The word “soul” translated from the Hebrew is “Nephesh” and means “mind or mental creature.” So, when we speak about the soul of man we are speaking about his mind. This is where the average person gets confused, they say soul and REALLY mean spirit.

Fiction books and movies don’t help either. But the Bible is very clear on this. Even the New Testament word for “soul” is translated from the Greek word “psuche” (pronounced psoo-khay) from which we get the word “psychic” which refers to our “mental processes.”

So, there’s nothing overly mysterious about your soul – It’s your mind! Your emotions, intellect and will… Plain and simple!

In summary here’s what we have:

~ Definition, Function and Purpose of the Human Spirit ~

The spirit is the God-conscious mechanism in man. It is the seat of the emotions, the intellect and the will as they relate to God and the spirit realm.

The human spirit is synonymous with the nature of man.

The condition of his spirit is the condition of his nature and his nature determines his eternal destiny. God designed the spirit to make humans conscious of God, to make us aware of the One who created us and to provide a means of communication with Him.

The human spirit harmonizes with the spirit realm and receives and transmits impulses of a spiritual nature. It allows man to talk to God and hear from God! It is a stream of life, a conduit for God to flow into and inhabit us!

That’s the purpose of the human spirit… to be an interface between God and man, allowing God to indwell and empower us and to provide an efficient, accurate means of relating to Him!

~ Definition, Function and Purpose of the Human Soul ~

The soul is the self-conscious mechanism in man. It provides the connection between his spirit and his body. God designed the soul to make him aware of his spirit on one end and his body on the other.

The soul is a perfect interface!

It communicates with the spirit on one side and with the body on the other! It harmonizes with the intellectual/emotional realm and receives and transmits impulses of an intellectual and emotional nature.

For instance, it allows human beings to communicate with each other by putting thoughts and feelings into words and then communicating those words verbally or otherwise. That’s part of the purpose of the soul… to allow effective communication between human beings!

But it goes further than this!

spiritandsoulcover5Not only does it allow communication between human beings but the human soul also communicates with the human spirit! This is the very reason they are so closely aligned. They were designed to interface with each other. For instance, when God speaks to you He doesn’t speak Japanese, English or French; He speaks the language of God.

Your spirit understands the language of God perfectly so when God speaks to you, your spirit understands exactly what God said in His own language. But, your soul needs to interpret the information into your native language so that it makes sense to you.

Therefore, because of the interface between your spirit and soul your mind can become fruitful with the knowledge that’s in your spirit. You would then proclaim, “God said such and such to me”. Not realizing that an extremely delicate and technical transfer of information from the spirit realm to the natural realm just occurred, all because of the function of your soul.

So, the purpose of the soul, apart from human to human communication is also to interface with the spirit, interpreting communications from God and making logical sense of it in order to take effective action!

God inhabits the spirit realm and we inhabit the physical, so, for communications that originate in the spirit realm to be received and acted on in the physical, there must be some mechanism linking both realms and providing a conduit for such communications to travel through.

Such is the purpose of the human soul… to interface between the spiritual and the natural realms! Linking your spirit with your body!
